We endeavour to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible and hold a small stock of assembled pieces ready for dispatch. However, at times of high demand orders may be assembled to order. As such, please allow a 1-2 week period for dispatch.

We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

We recommend you read these Term carefully to ensure you fully understand and agree with them before ordering or pre-ordering any of our Products.

Our Terms may be updated from time to time so we recommend printing or saving a copy of these Terms at the time of placing your order or pre-order for future reference.

 

Commercial Terms

Pricing

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

 

Products

Our products are guaranteed new. Product availability is indicated on the product page. However, you will be notified if products are temporarily or permanently unavailable. The pictures seen on the website are as accurate as possible.

 

Pre-orders

These Terms outline the placing of pre-orders with us for any of our Products. Please read these Terms carefully before submitting your order of any Clemence Watches Products. By submitting your order or pre-order, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

A “Pre-order” means the Product you are ordering is not currently in stock but is available for reservation. The Product you have pre-ordered will be shipped to you at a future date once it becomes available, subject to reasonable delays in manufacturing and/or delivery. Listed delivery dates are an estimate only.

Pre-order items are subject to reasonable minor revisions and changes in specification and design from website descriptions and website imagery. By placing a pre-order you accept reasonable minor changes may be made to the product you receive from the descriptions and photographs of the product available on our website at the time of placing your pre-order.

 

Pre-order Registration and Payment

When placing a pre-order for the Products, you will be required to provide information, such as your address and billing information. You represent and warrant that all such information is accurate, and you shall ensure that such information is kept current. Clemence Watches shall have no responsibility or liability for inaccurate information or information that later becomes outdated, and shall have no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. You can update your information at any time prior to your product being shipped by sending an e-mail to info@clemencewatches.com.

You will be charged at the time of placing the pre-order. Your placing of a pre-order constitutes your express agreement to the company charging your provided payment method at such time. The purchase price does not include import duties, taxes and other government charges, which are the buyers responsibility.

When placing a pre-order, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the product when you complete the check-out payment process.

 

Cancelling your Pre-order

Please be aware of the following terms and conditions that shall apply to this Pre-order purchase:

You acknowledge that we may not be able to fulfil your pre-order. If this were the case we will inform you by email and will credit back monies paid to your credit card or via other payment method. You will not be entitled to any compensation or remedy in case of delay in manufacturing/delivery, or cancellation by Clemence Watches of your pre-order, whatever the reason.

The following terms shall apply to such pre-orders:

  • All payments received shall be refundable as long as the order is cancelled prior to the date we ship the products;

  • Additionally, Clemence Watches customer service may contact you by email or telephone to make arrangements for the delivery and the fulfilment of your order;

  • Refunds are not available on personalised Products

 

If you wish to cancel your pre-order at any time prior to Clemence Watches sending the notification that the watch is ready to ship, please contact Clemence Watches customer service (info@clemencewatches.com) and we will be happy to process a full refund. Please allow up to 15 business days from date of request for full refund to be processed. The time for the refund to be processed depends on your bank.

 

Ordering a Product and Payment

Returns policy or exchanges

Please inspect your watch thoroughly upon receipt, before unwrapping, wearing or resizing. We can only accept returns if the watch is in new, unworn condition, with the plastic wrap still on the watch.

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to exercise your customer right of withdrawal and ask for a refund or an exchange.

Before any return for refund or exchange, you must contact Clemence Watches (info@clemencewatches.com) to discuss the returns procedure. The Products must be returned by you, the customer, at your own expenses to Clemence Watches, no later than fourteen days after having informed Clemence Watches about your decision to withdraw.

All returned Products must be received in their new unused condition, complete and in their original packaging.

The original purchase price of the Products will be refunded, following the receipt of the Products by Clemence Watches.

In case of a return for exchange, the new product will be sent following the receipt of the returned item. Additional shipping fees may be required for exchanges.

Damaged, incomplete, opened, or dirtied Products, handled by the customer won’t be taken back (as they could not be sold as ‘new’ again) and consequently will not be refunded nor exchanged.

If you are shipping a product with a value over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item and will not be liable for returns that are lost or damaged during return shipping.

 

Shipping

Pre-ordered Products are expected to be ready to ship at the date provided on the product page during placing your order, subject to reasonable delays in manufacturing and/or delivery. Such date is only an estimate, is subject to change, and Clemence Watches does not represent or warrant that it will be able to ship the Product by the estimated date.  As a result, in the event that a delay arises and the estimated shipment and/or release of the product is not met, Clemence Watches is not responsible for any damages that may occur due to the delay, nor shall it be obligated, except as set forth in these Terms, to provide any discounts, refunds or credits due to any such delays. The Products will be shipped in the order in which your pre-order is received by Clemence Watches. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Product order shipments will be made from Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, by courier or Royal Mail, between Monday and Friday within 1 week of the order being placed (excluding pre-orders) being made, unless otherwise noted.

Warranty

Our watches are backed by a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects that have occurred under normal and reasonable use. This does not apply to damage due to direct or indirect misuse or abuse. We reserve the right to determine if the product is covered under warranty program. Please write to us to report and commence any warranty claims.

 

This warranty does not apply to any costs, repairs, or replacements for the following:

  • Repairs necessitated by use other than normal and/or reasonable use.

  • Blemishes caused by normal wear and tear.

  • Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, abuse, accidents, or alterations.

  • Any damages that may arise after any unauthorised work is attempted.

  • Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
